The Vice President Communications (VP Communications) coordinates and facilitates
all chapter communications in compliance with National Charity League, Inc. (NCL)
brand governance standards. Please see the VP Communications Officer Handbook for details about the roles and responsibilities.
The purpose of this Communications Committee is to assist with communication efforts on behalf of the
chapter. This committee can include, but are not limited, to the following positions:
- VP Communications & Communication VP Elect/Assistant (becomes 2 year term)
- VP Communications
- Trains Communications Elect/Assistant on website
- Oversees Branding, Newsletter, Historian, Public Relations, and other Committee Members
- Follows her Timeline throughout the year and updates when necessary
- VP Communications Elect/Assistant
- Ensures accuracy and consistency of website function and content
- Oversees Calendar Monitor, Annual Transition Officer, Content Manager and Webmaster
- Checks Bounced Email Tool to ensure members are receiving Chapter communications

Not only does the Communication Committee oversee the message that is presented to the Chapter members, but it also educates the community they serve about NCL. Therefore, a team of individuals is needed to do the job well.
